Crop 'Til You Drop
Welcome back guys, I eventually found some extra pictures and videos after searching for a while, and when while, I really mean while. Finding more of them involved a lot of asking and searching through my old phone; in fact, I even created one in the meantime. I'm going to use CapCut because it is free and easy to use to create my commercial and do all of the editing. With CapCut, anybody, anywhere can make virtually anything with a video. Funny thing, despite having CapCut on my phone before, I've never used it, so I don't actually know how to use it. I guess I'll have to look for a tutorial video, luckily there’s time. Ok guys, after seeing the video, I think I understand what to do now. I was thinking about ending the piece with a video of me singing in sixth grade. Or maybe fading into the video with words above it. On top of that, I want it to quickly go through each picture, sort of overlapping each other to match the beat. I also want to use some other, not myself, but nice-looking images. But I have to first edit a few of the photos, I want to avoid making them look too weird and vibrate. For this, I'm playing about with the exposure, highlights, contrast, saturation, and other settings. I'm also cropping some things out and adjusting the photos' height and width to make them all the same. I hope none of the edits look strange since that is the exact opposite of my goal. Mid-way through my computer died and two of the pictures were deleted. I had to find them and redo all of the editing. I'm too exhausted, so I'm going to give up for today. I’ll do the videos next time. Stay tuned for my next blog where I’ll unravel even more mysteries about creating a commercial. Trust me; you won't want to miss it.
